Looks like we made it to the end of 2026

A little bit of rain, a few make up rounds turned in and we are ready for the final team scramble, lunch and good times. Please remember to think about taking over the mantle of league secretary/treasurer. We will need to find a replacement. I know Gary makes it look easy, but I am sure there is a little more work than he needs to be doing

In the PGA Flight, Dave Case returned with a bang, six pars good for five skins and a low score of 36. Joe Del Prince turned in two pars on number 13 and 14, grabbing one skin and canceling one of Dave’s. Dave’s make up rounds made the difference and moved him in to the top spot.

In the Champions Flight, Rick Davis took advantage of the “Dave Case, we’re here to have fun forward tees rule” and broke 50 for the third time this season, finishing strong with two skins on numbers 17 and 18. Dave “MaxPar” Snider grabbed two skins on numbers 12 and 16 (par), but struggled with his short game in the middle holes with big 8’s on numbers 13 and 14. That was just the advantage Gary Lind needed, turning in a score under his average and moving into second place.

In the LPGA Flight, Meghan Kinney continued collecting skins with the low score on seven holes and bringing her season total to 25 skins. Her score of 48 was third lowest in the league and kept her at the top of the leaderboard, just ahead of Barb Cassidy and her sister Erin. Erin grabbed a skin on number 15.

The numbers have been crunched and the Scramble Teams  are set. Tee time is 1pm. As soon as your team is ready to head on down to the number 10 tee box. As always the scramble is a best ball format. Each player will tee off and then pick the best drive for the next shot, where everyone will play from that position. Continuing on until the ball is in the cup. There will be longest drive and closest to the pin markers on a few select holes, one each for the ladies and gentlemen. The first team out will place the markers and the last team in will pick them up.

RULE NUMBER ONE IS TO HAVE FUN!!

Rule number two, head to the club house upper deck and feel free to laugh, encourage or heckle the rest of teams as they finish up on number 18.
